--- BOOKS ---
The essential characteristic of this book in comparison with others on the market in the same domain is that it describes through examples the ideal competences of a leader. I never claimed that it's easy to become a good leader, but if people will...
I wrote this book that conjoins in a simple way personal development with leadership, just like a puzzle, where you have to match all the given pieces in order to recompose the general image.
The aim of this book is to offer you information through concrete examples and to show you how to obtain the capacity to make others see things from the same angle as you.
In 1971 someone was affirming with intensity: “John Lennon gets everything from the first place.” Pele's football coach was never worried: “Pele will kick a goal in the first round.” It is well known that Jim Carey, today considered the best comedian actor in the world, since he was little he managed to make everyone laugh with an extraordinary facility, and Christina Aguilera, the “girl with a high voice”, started singing since she was 9 years old and had an unexpected success. Of course, you wonder what all these four different people have in common. Well, they always got everything from the first place. While thousands of singers were losing months to compose a song, John Lennon was launching an entire album, and almost every song which was composed by him got on the first position in the musical tops. Many football players couldn't kick a goal an entire season, but Pele almost in every game kicked a goal from the first round. Jim Carey didn't have to work hard to make people laugh, and Christina Aguilera, what can I say, her voice charmed people from her first show at 9 years old. You also have hidden talents Many times, people reject their own leanings and ambitions from a fragile age. And later, as a consequence, they get from life exactly what they expect to get: boredom, stress, sadness and of course, insufficient incomes. In an unfortunate way, their unhappiness reflects automatic on other people around them. You will never be happy and fulfilled if you don't try to discover what you do better than others, what is the thing you do best, what exactly you can get... from the first place. It's really sad to do all your life something you don't like. Please note that however much you would try to make your life interesting, if you don't find satisfaction in the work you do, you will never reach happiness. What Mark Fisher was saying, the author of the famous paper How to Think Like a Millionaire is very true: “Successful people are lead by the passion from their heart. They are romantics, even if it's about art or the world of business. They take action because of the joy they have for the work they do and because of their desire to discover new products or services, to confront new challenges.” See? Because they love so much what they do, successful people get everything from the first place and have results over the expectations. This is the leaders secret too: they do exactly the things they love the most, what they know best, and this is why they do it faster and better than anyone else. In order to become a leader in a certain domain, you have to do exactly what you like the most, and which you know very well. If you are talented in a certain direction, if you do what gives you most pleasure and do everything possible to get an advantage of this, you will not experience too many difficulties in life. If you don't know what is that thing that wake's your interest that enjoys you the most, think about what would you like to do if you had all the money in the world and all the time I need? Find the answer to this question and you will discover “the secret”. P.S. Unfortunately, only in certain areas (such as music, acting) a person can obtain quick success if she is talented, tenacious and energetic. In the article God Willing you will see that, in terms of management of a company (just like managing a country), a person can't succeed from the first time and can not change everything in one moment, no matter how talented he is.
